• VCE Brown Bag Lunch Series: Conserving Plants and Animals in a Changing Climate

hectorPlease join us for our upcoming  informal brown bag lunch seminar with Dr. Hector Galbraith on January 14th at noon. Bring your own lunch, we’ll provide dessert. Climate change poses difficult problems as we attempt to continue to conserve valued plants, animals and ecosystems. If we are to continue protecting these resources in New England, we must evaluate how well existing tools and approaches will work in the future and how we might craft new solutions.

Dr. Hector Galbraith is an ecologist (and inveterate birder) with particular expertise on the likely impacts of climate change on ecosystems, plants and animals. He has lived in Vermont for the last 10 years and has focused much of his work on natural systems in New England.
When:  Tuesday, January 14th at noon
Where: VCE Office, 20 Palmer Ct., White River Jct, VT map
