Emily is a rising junior at Colorado College, majoring in Organismal Biology and Ecology and minoring in Race, Ethnicity, and Migration Studies. She grew up in Mount Kisco, NY and has enjoyed exploring different ecosystems around the U.S. since going to college. She is interested in both the science and environmental justice aspects of ecology and making the outdoors interesting and accessible for people from all walks of life. She is excited to work at VCE this summer as a Future Ecologist Interdisciplinary Intern, working on a series of 2-week projects with various biologists. She is looking forward to working in the field and living in the Upper Valley!
