    Pablo Sosa-Negron - Summer Intern

Pablo A. Sosa Negrón is a recent graduate from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus, where he majored in Biology and minored in Visual Arts. He has done previous research on Puerto Rico and Costa Rica involving arthropods and birds. He is interested in urban ecology, specifically in how organisms evolve in cities and how biodiversity can be supported within these environments. As well, he is interested in scientific illustration and in ways that science can be merged with art to disseminate information. At VCE, he will be working as a Spatial Science Intern to model species distributions and identify potential conservation areas using data from community science platforms. This is his first time living in the Upper Valley and is excited to explore it!
