Allie received her B.S. in biology from Binghamton University in 2022 and is currently working on her M.S. in Environmental Biology from Hood College. Her research project is focusing on the changes in grassland insect community following a prescribed burn. After a handful of field seasons spent staring at plants and chasing insects with various research and land management projects, Allie moved to VCE as a staff biologist. Allie’s love of ecology comes from extensive road trips to many national parks as a child. She is easily distracted by edible plants and invasive species. When not found outside, she is frequently experimenting with baking projects, reading books, and trying to plan an outrageous travel adventure.
