It seems that Vermont iNaturalists are behaving like the weather. They just can’t let go of winter. The March winner was an amazing shot of a Snowy Owl at the goose viewing area at Dead Creek WMA by Sue Wetmore. This year will truly go down as Snowy Owl storm (see Vermont eBIrd map of observations). Congratulations to all of the other finalists. All six selections got at least one vote, a testimonial to the talent of all of you! April is going to be a very competitive month. The weather is breaking and life is flourishing across the Green Mountain State. We look forward to more great observations being submitted to iNaturalist Vermont, a project of the Vermont Atlas of Life.
