Brian is chair of Earth Surface Processes at Dartmouth College’s Department of Earth Sciences. Academically and literally, Brian is a man of action, specializing in the dynamics of rivers and seas, as well as flows associated with avalanches and volcanic eruptions. A Norwich resident, Brian served on VCE’s board of directors from 2014-2019, and is a past board member with the Vermont chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Learn more about Brian’s work.
