Jared S. Keyes is a Partner of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH), being appointed in January 2011. Jared joined the Boston office in 1994 as a lending officer, and in early 2008 moved to New York City to run the firm’s banking activities there, with a focus on commodity trade finance. In April 2014, Jared returned to Boston where he oversees BBH’s private banking activities in New England, which consists of services to entrepreneurs, including corporate lending, corporate advisory, private equity, and wealth management.
He is a 1979 graduate of Concord Academy, and a 1984 graduate of Harvard College where he received a degree in East Asian Languages & Civilizations.
Jared is an avid birder and conservationist. In addition to serving as Vice Chair of the board of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, he serves on the advisory councils of Massachusetts Audubon, The Fenn School, and Trustees of Reservation.
Mr. Keyes currently resides in Concord, MA and summers in North Hero, VT.
