Toni grew up on the seacoast of New Hampshire watching her father work in his soil lab researching organic methods to maintain the all-natural golf course that he operated. While her respect for the environment ran deep from a young age, it wasn’t until after earning a BA in English Literature from Simmons University that Toni combined her love of nature with her passion for boating by moving to Annapolis and giving kayak eco-tours on the creeks of the Chesapeake Bay. Having raised her two daughters in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Toni moved to Vermont in 2016 to experience the freedom and unity that life in Vermont affords. In her free time, you will find Toni blissfully organizing something—anything—a vice which she enthusiastically shares with VCE.
