Field Update: Mountain Birdwatch

Hike Mountains. Count Birds. Be Merry.

Jason Hill takes advantage of a spate of rainy weather to climb down from the mountains and shed light on the status of VCE’s Mountain Birdwatch project. It is impressive: stats like “127 routes” and “20,000 point counts” are invoked. Kudos and heartfelt thanks to our hale and hardy MBW citizen scientists! Watch Jason’s update and prepare to be impressed.

Want to join in the adventure and contribute to science? You don’t have to be an expert birder – just enthusiastic. Learn more and inquire about available routes for the 2019 Mountain Birdwatch season on the MBW Participate page.
