Congratulations to Susan Elliott for winning the September 2015 iNaturalist Vermont photo-observation of the month contest. Her image of an Autumn Meadowhawk (Sympetrum vicinum), was the most popular photo-observation as measured by clicked ‘favs’. Visit iNaturalist Vermont, a project of the Vermont Atlas of Life, and you can vote for the October winner by clicking ‘fav’ on your favorite photo-observation. Make sure you get outdoors and record the biodiversity around you and submit your discoveries and you could be a winner this month! All dragonfly and damselfly iNaturalist observations each year are added to the Vermont Odonate Atlas. Learn more about the updated atlas at the VCE blog.
