The Vermont Vernal Pool Mapping Project needs volunteers to field-verify potential vernal pools. Visit our interactive online map to see all potential pools we mapped and those that have already been verified. The red dots on the map are those pools for which we have landowner permission to visit and field-verify. Late-April and May are the best times to visit vernal pools.
