Jackie Richter-Menge is a research engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH. Her studies focus on the impact of the warming environment in the Arctic region. She collects, interprets, and reports observations, using the results to work with government and industry leaders to make informed decisions in response to climate-related changes. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to share the results of her work and stories of her polar field adventures with students and the public. Jackie lives in Hanover, NH with her husband, Rich Menge, and has two daughters. She enjoys walks in the New England woods and sunny days on the beaches of her home state, Delaware.
